Our team of 17 sonographers has over 200 years of cumulative experience in the field of ultrasound. Their knowledge base covers all imaging areas of vascular and arterial, elastography, prenatal, comprehensive breast imaging services, musculoskeletal, gynaecological, renal, and echocardiography.
We take pride in providing our community with the very latest in advanced imaging technology. With newly installed premium ultrasound units, our team has access to a number of new applications including a new class of obstetrics and gynaecology imaging providing superior levels of definition and clarity. With multiple radiologists on-site every day, we are able to consult referring practitioners where further imaging or urgent medical care is required. If correlated imaging is recommended, we provide comprehensive imaging and specialised services across a wide range of modalities on site.
All booking lengths are catered by the scan requirements. At a minimum, we allow 30 minutes for most scans to ensure we are thorough with our examinations. Between Noosa Radiology and Gympie Radiology, we have 12 ultrasound rooms operating from Monday to Friday with scan times starting from 7.00am most days. This means waiting times for examinations are minimal allowing you to return to your doctor in a relatively short period of time for your results.
